Thomas is the proud husband of Wendy, and father of Maxwell. He has more than thirty years of experience (18 professionally) with technology. He’s the author of “Adventures in Cybersecurity”, a humorous autobiographical account of those years. He has extensive experience in network and application security, electronic discovery, digital forensics, and malware analysis. He has held positions at several technology companies, in charge of large scale eDiscovery projects, forensics investigations, and network and application security for some of the world’s largest online applications. His work has also helped companies in the Internet of Things (IoT) and ICS (SCADA/PLC) environments become more secure. He is certified in Computer Security (CISSP), Digital Forensics (CCFP), and Malware Reverse Engineering (GREM). He holds two Masters Degrees (MS IS/MBA) from Johns Hopkins University. He serves as a member of the Editorial Advisory Board for Linux Journal, and speaks regularly on topics related to security, investigation, and analysis.
